i love aging! is a publication celebrating the art of dress as an ongoing experience, because fashion is FUN and your authentic style is something to be celebrated.
You won't find us on the socials* (unless someone shares about this magic), but you will find us on the comforting, tangible pages of a MAGAZINE, the lost art which brought so much joy and inspiration to us as pre-internet youngsters growing up in the (in general) cultural wasteland of the midwest.

The best way to know about magazine updates is to subscribe to the editor's Double Gemini newsletter... or you can follow @stainedghost on Instagram where we will be sharing the bare minimum announcement content because after spending almost 15 years giving away our beautiful creative genius for free to make tech bros more money, we are working to minimize how much we continue to contribute to these platforms. Because that shit sucks.

i love aging! is created collaboratively, through submissions and contributions that reflect real human style, not just whats being promoted through fancy fashion brands (though, if thats your thing, go for it and share it!).
The submission deadline for the first issue of i love aging! is MAY 1, 2026 (which just happens to be May Day/Beltane/our fav holiday, so you KNOW we are gonna have some fun!).
To be part of our FIRST issue, please fill out our submission form here. There are many ways that you can contribute:
share your fit: send a pic and fill out the short questionnaire in the grand tradition of street fashion blog style!
past selves: old pics celebrating your past hot looks
fashion icons: past or present, famous or not, who do YOU get inspo from?
best treasures: the story of your fav item in your closet
favs: recommended inspirational brands, makers, shops, sites, publications etc.
lil excitements: living up to the promise of IG back in the day, this is a space to share those random pics of color, inspiration, treasures you find thrifting, and other daily bursts of excitement that don’t quite fit into the outfit column
unique proposals: original photo and written essays, playlists, articles, interviews or other mindblowing thoughts you have to share about fashion, dressing and/or style

i love aging! is an independent magazine with a vision to be sustainable as an ongoing publication, which includes compensating our contributors financially in the future!
